The best thing about EXODUS is Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton make no effort to emulate Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner.
He is great in it though. His performance is more memorable than Christian Bale's I have to say.
The Gift was really intense and twisty. Great flick which undermines some genre tropes. Seems he is the king of Aussie noir.
Plus there's Joel Edgerton's pilot Carter as the obvious Macready substitute, and the fact he's locked out isn't a coincidence.
