Watching CUTTHROAT KITCHEN on Hulu and the thought occurs to me. Alton Brown is to this what Takeshi Kitano was to BATTLE ROYALE.
Im happy that Takeshi Kitano, a Japanese male, is playing a protagonist, not an ethnic villain, in Ghost in the Shell. But fuck that movie.
Saw the GITS teasers and all I can think of is TAKESHI KITANO
Alamo draft house is amazing. Why aren't all theaters like this? They just had trailers for Mad Max 1 & 2 plus an old Takeshi Kitano film
The Ghost in the Shell movie is probably going to be less than mediocre but he is playing Chief Aramaki at least.
