Whoever edits the BBC4 7.30pm repeats is doing a lousy job. Last week they excised Sue Wilkinson, Ian Dury &, umm, the Village People.
The only thing I can think of that even tenuously links The Village People to violence is the line in In The Navy "protect the motherland"
